• STUDIO HOURS

Normally 7 days a week, 10 am to 10 pm (some flexibility). You are booking and paying for the time you occupy the studio, not the time that you actually shoot. To save money, arrive on time and be prompt about wrapping up and out at the end of your shoot. Please include time for your set-up, breakdown, and clean-up through to departure in the time you book. We can usually let you in 10 minutes early "off the clock".

• PARKING

There is a parking lot just outside our front door. Rules about parking are changing in 2023 due to high demand. Try to arrive with one or two vehicles only. If you have numerous talent coming and going suggest using UBER or TTC since parking could be impossible during the week 9-5. Sundays are no problem however. For now, you can park in any free spot despite what the signs say, as long as it is not in front of loading areas (garage doors).

• TTC (Toronto transit)

Travel the Bloor subway to Lansdowne station and take the bus north for 5 minutes to Dupont St. From there walk west 5 minutes, under the rail bridge to Campbell Ave where you turn north (right) and immediately right again into the parking lot of the industrial mall we are in. An alternative is to take the Symington bus north from Dundas West station to Dupont and walk east a couple of minutes to Campbell Ave.

• WIFI

Our wi-fi network is called "studiocozy". Ask for the password when you get here.

• BOOKING MINIMUMS

The studio has a minimum starting price to book ($150 up to 2 hours). This covers our basic costs of overhead, admin, and being there to open and prepare the studio for you. Four hours or more is just $60/hr.

• START TIME

You are billed starting with your scheduled start time whether you arrive on time or not. We can usually adjust your official start time if you let us know before the day of your booking. And you can get into the space 15 minutes early for free orientation time - take advantage of that!

• PRIVACY

Normally you pretty much have the space to yourself with just one or two studio people nearby in case you need help. If you require complete privacy on the shooting floor (eg. for nude photography) let us know at the time you make the booking so we can stay out of your way.
